My name is Brian Sexton and I Make Cool Shit is a new Web site I built specifically to serve as a portfolio of my work. It was born of the simple premise that résumés suck, but portfolios rock.
I just recently released this first version of the site, so it is just getting started and I plan to add not only more content, but also more features. For now, there is actually less here than there was in my old main portfolio, so if you want to see more of my work, please refer to my portfolio at CalendarWorks and check out Gravitas Games, where I am likely to post new Flash games before I post them here.
I usually work as a software developer (mostly Flash/ActionScript, PHP, and MySQL projects, currently on a freelance basis) and I develop some of my own software in my personal time, but I am also a visual artist, a writer, and a university student (when my work schedule and finances both allow). Like my parents before me, I was raised right here in Silicon Valley.
